Clinical Supervision

I offer clinical supervision to Licensed Professional Counselor Associates (LPCA) pursuing full licensure (LPC) in South Carolina.

Past supervisees describe my supervisor style as warm, understanding, collaborative, and well-resourced. My goal as your supervisor is to help you feel confident in your clinical practice by developing your clinical skills and building self-awareness. Supervision sessions typically include case consultation, discussions of ethical or clinical concerns, and review of counseling techniques. We’ll discuss best practices, ethical guidelines, and relevant laws to help you feel confident in your ability to minimize risk. We will also discuss topics like clinician self-care and minimizing risk of burn out.

I’m also passionate about helping clinicians feel empowered in their ability to jump into private practice. I enjoy incorporating conversations on practice start up and business operations into supervision.

You can learn more about my background and credentials through my C.V. here.

Individual Supervision | 60-Mins | $80

Individual Supervision is one-on-one, face-to-face discussion of clinical and professional issues with your supervisor. The state of South Carolina requires a minimum of 60 hours of individual supervision over the course of 2 years. Individual supervision is offered on a monthly, bi-monthly, or weekly basis for LPCA’s in SC working toward their full licensure as an LPC.

Group Supervision | 120-Mins | Suggested Fee of $80

The purpose of group supervision is to facilitate discussion of cases and relevant clinical concerns amongst peers to receive a variety of clinical perspectives. Group supervision is a wonderful supplement to individual supervision as you continue to develop your clinical skills. Group supervision availability is dependent on supervisee interest and current engagement as there must be a minimum of 3 LPCAs in attendance per SC Board rules.
