QueerMed provides supportive and affirming care for the transgender community via telehealth. They provide HRT (gender affirming hormone replacement therapy) utilizing an informed consent model via telehealth to those located in the south east including SC, NC, GA, and FL.

charleston trans masc social group

This group was developed to foster friendship and brotherhood among Masculine of Center individuals and their supporters in the Charleston Area. They host regular social outings for individuals 18 and older and strive to create space outside of the bar/nightlife scene to socialize.

we are family

We Are Family is a non-profit located in N. Charleston that provides support to LGBTQ+ youth (ages 12-24) through a variety of resources, including peer discussion groups, name change workshops, gender affirming gear, and mental health assistance (to name a few).

charleston area transgender support

CATS is the longest running transgender support group in South Carolina. They offer a place where all members of the transgender community can gather to assist and support one another on their respective journeys. They are a non-restrictive group, welcoming everyone from the occasional crossdresser, to the gender fluid, non-binary, to trans women and men.

alliance for full acceptance

The Alliance For Full Acceptance (AFFA) is partnering with local licensed counselors to create a virtual safe and inclusive space for adults age 25 and older. The purpose of this group is to create a space where attendees can find support, experience empowerment, and have the opportunity to connect with other LGBTQ adults. Meetings are for LGBTQ+ identified individuals living in the Charleston, South Carolina area who wish to come together and discuss their life experiences and receive support from their peers and trained facilitators. Attendees must register in advance.
